Howard Goldstein Selected as Finalist for South Florida's Business Leaders of the Year Award
MIAMI, Fla., August 17, 2010 - Howard L. Goldstein, CPA and Managing Partner of the accounting firm Mallah Furman, was chosen as a finalist among 25 top-caliber business leaders in South Florida who received the 2nd Annual Business Leaders of the Year Award.
The award recipients were honored in a ceremony held at the prestigious downtown Miami Bankers Club. These exceptional individuals emerged as this year’s most outstanding leaders, from a record number of nominations received this year, in the following fields: banking, legal, financial, healthcare, franchising, infrastructure, insurance, retail, technology and real estate.
With over 35 years experience, Howard has broad knowledge in all phases of taxation, both domestic and international, as well as providing tax strategies and planning to corporations, partnerships and individuals. Mallah Furman, a Certified Public Accounting firm with offices in Miami and Fort Lauderdale, has served South Florida and the surrounding region for 50 years.
Howard is, and has been, a board member of numerous organizations, including State of Israel Bonds, Greater Miami Jewish Federation, AIPAC, Strategic Forum of Florida, Hillel Council, Tel Aviv University, Rambam Medical Center in New York, Anti Defamation League, Congregation Bet Shira, Jewish National Fund, Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, and Baptist Hospital Foundation.
