Michael Silver Appointed To The Investment Committee Of The Miami Jewish Home And Hospital
MIAMI, Fla., August 21, 2009 - Michael A. Silver, CPA, partner at the Miami office of accounting firm Mallah Furman, has been appointed to the Investment Committee of the Miami Jewish Home and Hospital at Douglas Garden (MJHH).
Silver has close to 40 years of expertise in the areas of estate and gift, wealth transfer and succession planning and he has served as a trusted advisor to businesses and high net worth families both locally and nationally. Further, he has previously demonstrated his commitment to South Florida as an officer and board member for numerous charitable and community organizations.
Michael has been with Mallah Furman since 2006, and was previously a Partner at Bloom, Gettis, Habib, Silver, Terrone & Rosner, PA as well as a co-founder of Silver, Dix & Hammer, PA and Newman & Silver. He is a graduate of the University of Miami, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in 1972.
