Public Company Audits

Our Public Company practice includes a team of professionals with many years of SEC experience obtained through working for national and international audit firms and with large and mid-market audit clients. Our professionals have worked extensively with public filers on everything from initial SEC registration to ongoing SEC reporting and compliance for quarterly interim reviews and annual audits of financial statements.

Audit Approach

Our approach to audits begins with the development of a well-designed audit plan, which is determined in part through discussion with your financial team. The plan is deadline-oriented and designed to ensure that there are no surprises throughout the engagement. The engagement will include the significant involvement of audit partners and principals, and senior-level managers with many years of professional experience at both the national and local level. We utilize the latest audit-related technology throughout all facets of the audit process to help eliminate any inconsistencies or redundancies that may occur along the way.

We recognize that high-quality audits are essential to the growth of financial markets. Our professionals are highly sensitive to the need to maintain objectivity and independence. Therefore, our audits are led by partners who are heavily involved in the engagements and staffed by individuals with appropriate skill level and knowledge of our client’s businesses. Our public company audits also have a significant level of independent technical oversight.
